User files and folders are index by the system to keep track of what file is sav and where it is locat on the disk. The indexing can be corrupt, causing slow loading times and slower Explorer opening times. There is a troubleshooting tool for this, but it is buri deep in the settings.

2. Select “Privacy & Security” on the left sidebar and click “Search Windows” on the right.
