Create an account

Then, enter your details, including name, email address and password, into the appropriate fields and you will receive an activation link in your email to verify your account.

Creating segments

Creating a segment is quite easy. First, you need to log in to the account you created. 

After logging in, you will click on a page called “Segment Builder”, where you will be able to create a customer segment based on various new frequencies for mobile: consultation opens criteria, such as customer location, purchase history, or engagement level. 

After selecting your criteria, you can start sending targeted messages, but don’t forget to save the segment.

Automatic messaging

Once you have created your own user segments, you can start setting up automated messaging.

After selecting a segment, you can click the “Create” button to start creating an automated message, including content and desired delivery method. 

Also choose when the message should be sent (immediately or later).

Finally, select your desired delivery method, such as via email, SMS, or push notification, which is a notification sent through an app or website.

Once you save the automated message, it will be sent to the desired user segment at the specified time.

Real-time data monitoring

After sending automated messages, it is important to monitor data using the “Analytics” panel.

How much does Twilio Segment cost?

Twilio Segment offers a variety of pricing packages to suit businesses of any budget.

The basic package is free. It collects data from two sources (website and app) and is able to send this data to an unlimited number of target “destinations”. ( Google Analytics , Data Warehouse, etc.) You can use it if your website is visited by less than 1,000 users per month.

If your website has 10,000 visitors, you’ll pay $120 per month for Twilio Segment services. For every additional 1,000 visitors, you’ll pay $10. The second package collects data from an unlimited number of sources and also comes with a 14-day free trial.

The last package, Business, is priced in consultation with Segment representatives. It includes all the features of the previous two packages, but as its name suggests, it is more suitable for companies with larger budgets.
